AI Policy

Styled Home Diary may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) tools to support parts of our editorial, creative, research, and production workflow. We believe AI can be useful when combined with meaningful human oversight, editorial judgment, and quality control.

1. AI Use in Written Content

We may use AI tools to assist with brainstorming, outlining, drafting, language refinement, formatting, research organization, and content development. AI is used as a support tool rather than a replacement for editorial review.

2. AI Use in Images and Visual Assets

Some images or visual assets published on Styled Home Diary may be fully AI-generated or AI-assisted. These visuals may be used to illustrate design moods, decor concepts, styling directions, or room inspiration where original photography or licensed visuals are not otherwise available.

3. Human Review of AI Images

We do not intentionally publish AI-generated images without review. AI-generated or AI-assisted images are carefully reviewed, selected, and quality-checked before publication to help ensure they are relevant, appropriate, visually coherent, and aligned with the editorial purpose of the page.

If an AI image appears inaccurate, unrealistic, misleading, confusing, low-quality, or otherwise unsuitable, we may edit, replace, relabel, or remove it.

4. Google Images as Reference Only

We may use Google search results or publicly visible online images as visual reference material for inspiration, research, or concept direction. These references do not automatically become publishable assets, and reference use does not by itself imply ownership, licensing, or republication rights.

5. Editorial Oversight

Human review remains an important part of our publishing process. AI-assisted text and visuals may be revised, edited, expanded, corrected, reformatted, or removed before or after publication.

6. Limitations of AI

AI tools can produce factual errors, incomplete context, generic output, unrealistic imagery, or stylistic inconsistencies. For this reason, we do not rely exclusively on AI for factual accuracy, legal judgment, safety-critical information, or final editorial decision-making.

7. Responsible Use

We aim to use AI responsibly and in ways that support clarity, creativity, usefulness, and editorial quality. We do not intend to use AI in a manner that knowingly misleads users or disregards legitimate intellectual property concerns.

Our AI practices may evolve over time as tools, standards, workflows, and legal expectations change. We reserve the right to update this AI Policy at any time by posting a revised version on this page.
